Jeb Bush-league To Pitch Military Buildup In Wake Of Paris Attacks

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush cites the Paris terror attacks as a reason for wide military build upward.

The former state governor says U.S. war machine have been left sick-prepared to defeat the Islamic Land, which is blamed for the Paris attacks that killed at least 129 and wounded hundreds more.

"The cruel savagery is a reminder of what is at pale in this election," Bush says in excerpts of a speech he plans to deliver Wednesday at The Military College of S Carolina, known as The Citadel.

Bush plans to pitch himself as a potential commander in chief able to handle such challenges, as his presidential bid tries to gain traction in a chief campaign likely to be shaken up afterward the Paris attacks.

"Nosotros are choosing the leader of the free world," he said, co-ordinate to passages released in advance of his address. "And if these attacks remind us of annihilation, information technology's that nosotros are living in serious times that crave serious leadership."

Bush's campaign Tuesday released a broad outline of his proposal, to restore the cuts and set goals to build upwardly the military in several areas.

Just Bush-league hinted Tuesday, campaigning in Columbia, that the Paris attacks could change the focus for choosing the next commander in principal.

Bush-league also appears to be anticipating criticism that he would wage war in Republic of iraq, as his father and blood brother did when they were president.
